He is an associate in the law firm of M. A. Banire & Associates. An alumnus of University of Abuja and later, University of Lagos, he was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2003. He started his law career at Sola Ajijola & Co. Solicitors, Lagos- 2003-2005, with an in-between stint at Yusuf Dankofa & Co., Solicitors, Kaduna (2004); Prime Location (2005-2007); Quayside Properties (2007-2008); Barclays, United Kingdom (2008-2010). Lanre Baruwa joined the law firm of M. A. Banire & Associates as an Associate in April 2011.
